Dr. Jeff LaPlume 

Dr. Jeff LaPlume is a board-certified optometric physician who has been practicing locally for over 30 years. He was born in Worcester, MA, and moved to Largo, where he attended high school. He earned his Bachelor’s in Chemistry and pre-medical studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 1987, and he graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992. He was a Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society member, and externships were completed at Fort Carson Army Hospital in Colorado Springs and The Eye Foundation in Orlando.
