Your Guide to Glasses and Frames: Resources for Patients

  • Your eyeglasses will be made with the latest technology and utmost care.
  • The lenses we provide will be accurate to your prescription and custom measurements.
  • After you receive your purchase, if you are not 100% satisfied, we want to know.
  • We will do everything in our ability to make it 100%.
  • REMAKES

    In the event you are not seeing 100% we will recheck all aspects of your order. Should it be necessary we will have you return to your examining doctor to recheck your refraction. Within 45 days of the date of your original refraction,  if your Dr. changes your prescription we will remake your lenses at no charge. After 45 days to 90 days there will be a 50% charge of the original lenses.


  • PROGRESSIVE NON ADAPTS

    If for any reason you are unable to adapt to a progressive lens design, replacement lenses are offered at no charge.  Non adapts will be changed to lined bifocal or lined trifocal at no cost to the patient.  If you choose to upgrade to a premium lens design, we will only charge the difference from the original design.


  • SCRATCH WARRANTY/ AR WARRANTY

    All Crizal, Super HiVision, Glacier, Claris Plus, and Quest 2yr AR (anti reflective)

    lenses are warranted for a period of 2 years. Somo UltraClear and other brands have a warranty of 1 year. Scratch remakes are offered for “normal wear and tear”.  Any lenses that have been damaged further are not considered “warranty” issues. Any issues with AR, such as, peeling, crazing or blurring is considered warranty, replacement is one time. Lens replacements are subject to a $65.00 charge.  This covers shipping, handling, insurance and lab fees. 

  • FRAME WARRANTY

    Frames are warranted for “manufacturing defects”  for a minimum of 1 year.  If a company offers an additional time period, we will extend that to you. Defects are not damage due to misuse, and or accident. Although, any time you have a problem with your frame, we will try to repair, re align or replace any parts for you.  If a replacement is required that is not covered under warranty we will do our best to offer a discount or solution at the lowest cost.


    Frame replacements are subject to a $40.00 charge. This covers, shipping, handling and insurance to return the product to the manufacturer.


    PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE GLUE ON YOUR EYEGLASSES. Let us handle the repair.

  • DRILL MOUNTS

    We will warranty drill mounts for a period of 2 years for lens cracking if the material used is Trivex or High Index 1.60 – 1.67. Any other material used is at the patient's risk. 

  • GENERAL CARE

    • Clean you glasses daily. 
    • Use warm water and soap.
    • Use only “approved” lens cleaner. Some lens cleaner can damage delicate lens coatings.
    • Use microfiber cloths to eliminate finger prints. Keep these cloths clean as they can build up with oils, make up and dirt.
    • Alcohol can be used to eliminate hair spray.  Use sparingly.  Never use “Windex” it has ammonia added and can damage the frame as well as your lenses.
    • Always store your glasses in a case when you are not wearing them.  If you do\ not have one, we will give you one!
    • NEVER LEAVE YOUR GLASSES IN THE CAR. The heat in Florida will cause extreme damage to coatings, clip ons and may affect your frame adjustment.
    • Do not let others wear your glasses.  
    • Do not place the lenses face down on any surface.
    • If you get any chemicals or paint on your glasses, don't try to clean them with anything other than hot/warm soapy water. Bring the to the office for any spots you cannot remove.
    • Don't try to adjust your glasses at home. Bring them to us, anytime, no charge.

  • CUSTOM FITTING

    Custom fittings and repairs will always be at no charge.  We service what we sell.
